The United Way of Androscoggin County can help find the volunteer opportunity that matches your skills
and interests. There are many resources available at United Way. United Way coordinates the activities of the
Androscoggin Volunteer Administrators (AVA) which offers access to volunteer opportunities; training opportunities
and resources; networking; and a forum to connect with other volunteers and volunteer administrators. In addition, a
Volunteer Generation Fund Grant, funded in-part by the Maine Commission for Community Service allows
United Way to conduct outreach and increase volunteer recruitment throughout Androscoggin and Oxford Counties.
