Lewiston, Maine (January 26, 2020) - United Way of Androscoggin County has been selected to administer the Phase 38 grant for Androscoggin County and Oxford County from the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program to aid in the local fight against homelessness and hunger. Androscoggin County has been awarded $37,857 for Phase 38 of the program and Oxford County has been awarded $21,811 for Phase 38 of the program.
Grant applications were reviewed by a local board comprised of area non-profit leaders, local municipalities and members of the faith community. The following grants were recently announced:
